Characters disappeared

One of the worst things about ‘Glee’ is some of the absurd stories. In six seasons, some characters have appeared and simply disappeared without any coherent explanation. And lots of guest stars have visited the show too, like Ricky Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kristin Chenoweth, Idina Menzel

But sometimes they disappear from the show without any explanation. Their story is finished, that’s all. For example, how is it possible that Idina Menzel, playing Shelby disappears since season 4? She is Rachel’s biological mother and she is also the adoptive mother of the daughter of Quinn and Puck. She is not there on her daughter’s Broadway debut.

And of course even in the New Directions group. Does anybody know the story of Matt? Or what happened to Lauren Zizes, Rory, Sugar, Marley…? ‘Glee’ is a show with lots of secondary characters, so it’s very difficult to create a story for all of them. But anyway, lots of them were simply ignored and wasted. And it’s just a shame.

So, one of the things that we can remember about ‘Glee’, once is finished, is that the show didn’t have the best writers in the world. But don’t worry, lots of fans around the world still loving it.

Some of the characters were given an explanation (Rory went home to Ireland, Matt moved schools…) but I agree that most characters lacked an explanation.
That’s one thing I wish I would have seen in the series finale. Closure for the characters. Not even the minor ones like Sugar or Lauren, but main ones like Quinn or Brittany. What did they end up doing in the future? Don’t get me wrong, I loved the finale, but I do wish we got closure for all the characters that we came to love.
