Ryan Murphy is the creator of ‘Glee’. He is becoming a guru of TV, writing and producing lots of movies and TV shows. He is the creator of lots of shows, but probably ‘Glee’ made him famous and he got lot of popularity. He also has created ‘Popular’, ‘Nip/Tuck’, ‘American Horror Story’, ‘The New Normal’ and the upcoming ‘Scream Queens’.
He is homosexual, married with a man and with two children. Probably ‘Glee’ is inspired in some of his personal life, like ‘The New Normal’, which tells the story of a gay couple who want to have a baby. I’m sure that many of the scenes of both shows are autobiographical. During his childhood and youth, he use to sing in a choir as well, which inspired him for ‘Glee’.
As far as I know, Ryan Murphy was controlling most of the creative process of the production of ‘Glee’. He wanted to use classical musical songs and also new chart hits. In all the show there is a balance between this two types of songs. So he is not in ‘Glee’, but somehow you can feel his influence.
What do you think about him? Do you admire him for ‘Glee’?
